Creating Balance Sheet using Pivot Table operation pg 57 58

Creating 'Balance Sheet Report Using PivotTable Operation

An alternative way to create a Balance Sheet report is by using Pivot Table operation.

We will use data in sheet TB to build a Balance Sheet report using a PivotTable operation. More specifically, we will use 2 columns i.e. BALANCE SHEET MAIN CATEGORY and RM-NET. The PivotTable operation will summarise each unique item in the column BALANCE SHEET MAIN CATEGORY with its corresponding total.

The advantage of using the PivotTable operation is that you can build and then delete the report sheet. The disadvantage is you cannot rearrange the position of items in the report produced.
