Creating Debt Ageing report using Pivot Table Sample 5 pg 83 84

Sometimes you want to see debtors' names appear in rows on the leftmost column of the report while the age groups appear in columns on the topmost row. You can do this just by dragging the relevant buttons to the appropriate place in the Layout dialog. Drag the ACCOUNT-DEBIT button into the ROW box and drag the DEBT-AGE GROUP column into the COLUMN box. Below is a sample result:

Initially all unique accounts names will appear in column under ACCOUNT-DEBIT button. You have to remove non-customer names and leave only customers name. Follow these steps.

1. Click on the arrowhead on the right of the ACCOUNT-DEBIT button.

2. A list of accounts will appear.

3. Remove the check-marks on the left of non-customers names.

4. Click OK.

You should get the desired report.
