Review Of Data and structure In Sheet DATA

Review Data And Structure in sheet Data

A review of the data and its structure in sheet DATA, from time to time, is necessary to detect any inconsistencies in our data. Inconsistencies in our data will render formulas, filtering, sorting and PivotTable functions inaccurate, producing unexpected results.

We should take notice of the following matters in the sheet named DATA:

1. Row 1 - Make sure formulas in some of the cells in row 1 are still intact.
2. Row 3 All cells must remain blank.
3. Row 4-Cells from column A to AC must contain data titles. There should be no blank cells in between the cells. Spelling must not change.
4. Row 5 Some cells contain initial formulas. Make sure formulas are not deleted. This row is the starting data area.
5. Rows 5 to 30000 - This is the Data area. Data must be filled row by row. Make sure there are no blank cells in columns A, G, H, I, and J, in between rows of data. Other columns may contain blank cells.
6. The absolute total amount of RM-DEBIT and RM-CREDIT should be the same.
7. Review items in column CHECK ACCOUNT DEBIT for non-existent accounts name.
8. Review items in column CHECK ACCOUNT CREDIT for non-existent accounts name.
9. The last filled row in columns A, G, H, I and J must be the same.
